Keep it comfortable and useful.
Make room for everyone
- Pointing, eye gaze, colored cards, or a hand signal can replace jumping.
- Allow a center/pass option.
- Use only low-stakes choices with no correct or socially loaded answer.
Watch out for
- Avoid choices involving identity, family, money, bodies, ability, food access, or real school consequences.
- Do not attach a lesson, reflection, or public share-out afterward.
- Announce the length, honor it, and move directly into the next task.
