What to say
“Turn to the next person. You each get thirty seconds to rant about something that does not matter. Not a person, school, politics, or a real problem. Passing is fine.”

Keep it comfortable and useful.
Make room for everyone
- Passing or writing a one-line fake complaint is fine.
- Students may rant to the teacher, a group of three, or privately on paper.
- No eye contact or public performance is required.
Watch out for
- Stop references to real people, school events, identity, bodies, politics, trauma, or consequential problems.
- Do not attach a lesson, reflection, or public share-out afterward.
- Announce the length, honor it, and move directly into the next task.
