Keep it comfortable and useful.
Make room for everyone
- Offer roles that do not require cutting, drawing, standing, or fine-motor work.
- Use pre-torn tape, larger materials, or digital pieces when useful.
- Allow students to contribute by directing a peer or choosing between options.
Watch out for
- Do not announce a best design or turn the gallery walk into judging.
- Interrupt gently if one student becomes the permanent architect while others only fetch supplies.

For students
Here’s what to do.

Show the limited supplies and read the build prompt.

Give teams two quiet minutes to sketch, point, or describe possible pieces before touching materials.

Ask each person to choose a contribution mode: design, build, connect, label, test, or supply manager.

Build for ten to fifteen minutes, pausing halfway so teams can notice whose idea has not been included yet.
