“Our last three minutes have three jobs: reset the room, notice one thing about today, and leave without a last-second scramble. The reflection is not graded, and passing is always available.”

For students
Minute one: everyone completes one visible room-reset action rather than leaving cleanup to the same students.
Minute two: display one prompt and let students answer privately, tell a neighbor, use a signal, or pass.
Minute three: move to the door and acknowledge each student with a word, hand signal, nod, or quiet goodbye as they leave.
Stop when the bell or transition arrives; do not stretch the prompt into a discussion.
For students
Repeat often enough that students can run the routine without new directions.
