Keep it comfortable and useful.
Make room for everyone
- Choose any one pain-free press and repeat it, or use a soft object for a hand squeeze.
- Keep effort self-selected and below strain.
- Students may simply change posture or stretch fingers instead.
Watch out for
- Use only stable furniture; prohibit lifting, tipping, straining, or holding the breath.
- Do not attach a lesson, reflection, or public share-out afterward.
- Announce the length, honor it, and move directly into the next task.
