Keep it comfortable and useful.
Make room for everyone
- A student may stay in an assigned or accessible seat and instead change orientation, desk arrangement, or nearby materials.
- Reserve required seating without explanation.
- Do not use the move to force a particular social pairing.
Watch out for
- Protect assigned seating, mobility access, sensory needs, and student privacy.
- Do not attach a lesson, reflection, or public share-out afterward.
- Announce the length, honor it, and move directly into the next task.
